Bill and Dave

Dave Goff presents a thank you gift to long time Basketball Committee Chair Bill Cone for his 22 years of fundraising service to the club. Club members signed the commemorative "Wilson" Cone ball. It is estimated that the basketball fundraiser has raised over $175,000 since the club was founded and that money has been returned to the community and it's various needs.

Tournament Format (Pool Play)
Each team is guaranteed to play 3 games. A maximum of 50 teams will be in the tournament.

Registration Fee
$250 per team by April 20, 2007

Contact the tournament director for multiple team discounts for registration of more than 2 teams from any one club.

Registration fee and roster due at time of registration. Make checks payable to Cabarrus Rotary. No entries will be accepted unless the entrant is a properly registered member of the AAU. Minimum of 4 teams per age group to conduct pool play format. Teams may be asked to play up.

3-Point Shootout
Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 3:30 pm | Concord High School

NBA-Style Shootout
Exciting prizes awarded to the top 2 finishers in each age division
Two players from each team may participate. Players must be listed on the entry form.

Age Divisions:
12U-15U Girls
9U-12U Boys
13U-15U Boys

Rules:
- Each registered team may elect to have two members participate in the contest.
- Each contestant must be registered by the team coach (separate from the team registration) prior to the start of the contest.

- Each contestant will have 45 seconds to shoot (up to 15 balls) and make as many baskets as possible.
- All age groups will shoot from the standard 3-point line.
- A ball rack will be placed at each of the three locations (top of the key, left and right elbows) with 5 balls at each location.
- At one location (shooter's choice) there will be one "bonus" ball, that if made, will count 3 points. All other made shots count one point each.

Coaches Clinic and Player Skills Clinic

Pfeiffer University Head Men's Basketball Coach Dave Davis and Head Women's Basketball Coach Lee Buchanan will present this year's Coaches Clinic sponsored by Pfeiffer University. Justin Kuralt will direct the popular Player Skills Clinic again this year.

I-85 Exit 60 - Dale Earnhardt Blvd. From North I-85 - turn left; from South I-85 - turn right. This will be Copperfield Blvd., go to stoplight and turn left onto Branchview (Hwy. 3). Go 1 mile - turn left on Miramar Street. School is on the right.

Follow 29-601 South (Warren C. Coleman Blvd. South) and follow 601 bypass; continue on 601 bypass to Old Charlotte Road; turn left onto Old Charlotte Road; turn at 2nd street on left, Swink Street.
