District 7680 Centennial Giving Initiative

$26.50 was the First Gift to the Rotary Foundation
Started in Atlanta, Georgia in 1917 by Arch Klumph

To celebrate and promote the 100th Anniversary of the Rotary Foundation, District 7680 is recognizing Rotarians for giving above and beyond their normal gifts during the year.

  • All gifts are to be made during the Rotary year from July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017 through Rotary Direct. To access Rotary Direct, please go to   Please select Annual - SHARE

  • Rotarians will be asked to report the gift to to the Centennial Foundation Chair, Steve Whitesell (see contact information below)

The Recognition levels are as folows

  • Governors Centennial Circle:  A one-time gift of $536.00,or a 12-month recurring draft of $45.00 monthly --today's value of the first gift ($26.50 plus inflation) to the Foundation

  • Governors Centennial Society:  A monthly recurring draft via Rotary Direct of $26.50 The amount of the first gift to the Rotary Foundation for a 12-month period minimum or a gift of $318.00.

  • Governors Centennial Supporter:  A one-time gift of $26.50.

Members of the Centennial Circle and Society will receive a recognition pin from the District Governor in appreciation of their gift(s).

Centennial Supporters will be recognized at a District Event.

The large and small club with the highest member giving percentage and total giving under the initiative will each be recognized at a District Event.
